Beets sliced into circles about 1/4 inch thick
Beet greens
olive oil
garlic granules
1 cloves garlic minced
Balsamic vinegar
Your favorite bread for sandwiches


Place all ingredients except greens and fresh garlic in a zip lock bag or container. Let marinade for 15-20 minutes.

Chop and place greens in a pan with oil and fresh garlic and cook until wilted.

Heat up grill and place beets on rack over a medium flame. Turn beats every couple minutes to regulate charring. beets are done when easily pierced with a fork. Approx 10 minutes.

Place beets on bread and top with greens. Enjoy a simple yet super nutritious sandwich. Feel free to add your favorite condiments or goats cheese to this delight.
